She adores butterflies and Hello Kitty. She loves to laugh and hang out with her friends and family. Above all, she loves God. :)
#110 I don’t like drinking medicine.
It’s not that I don’t like the taste or that I have a hard time swallowing it, but it’s because of something my Chemistry professor told me before. She said that if you always drink medicine or rely on it a lot, your body eventually gets immune to it thus making you consume more each time. Ever since then, whenever I get sick, I try to stay away from medicines and drink lots of water instead.
I just had my wisdom teeth out and one of the prescription was Ibuprofen (which I believe is the pain killer). Since, it was stated in the bottle that I take it every 6 hours when needed for pain, I decided not to take it seriously. So I only took it once when it started to really hurt 6 hours after. When I went back to work, Kathy told me that Ibuprofen would help with the swelling… my bad!! So now, I’ve been trying to drink it every 6 hours just to get rid of my puffy cheeks!
P.S. Thank God my face is really small so it looks normal to other people even if it’s swollen!!
#109 Whenever I see lines on the road, I try to walk in it.
This is mostly due to my excessive watching of fashion shows when I was in high school. There was one episode on how to do the model ramp walk where they had the girls try and walk in a straight line. So ever since then, I tried doing it so I could at least feel like a model. I’m too short so my dream of becoming one is close to impossible. Haha!
On another note, I kept seeing these pink markers when I ran the last time and it encouraged me to just go for it despite having to catch my breath. Yay for that!!
#108 This perfectly describes my relationship with my siblings.
We’re always hungry but are too lazy to cook and prepare food most of the time. One of my recent conversations with my sister:
Krista: Do you want a burger too?
Me: Hmm yea sure
Krista: Okay, good! Here’s the burger patties. You can grill them outside.
Me: Uhm no thanks. I wasn’t that hungry anyway!
And she ended up grilling them all because her boyfriend was hungry. Haha!

#107 I’m not a huge fan of grapefruits.
My mom loves it and she buys tons of pure grapefruit juice. I tried it and it has this bitter after-taste that’s just doesn’t sit well on my tongue. But then she told me that it helps flatten your tummy so I tried drinking it again and for some reason it sort of tasted better. Haha! I’m always like that. I hate something but when I realize how healthy or how good it is for me, I start to love it. Or at least, I try to love it. Perfect example of second statement would be bittermelon. My dad said it’s a good source of iron (which I need) so I try to love eating it. Good thing, our helper cooks it in a way that you can barely taste the bitterness. She didn’t get to move with us to Canada and now I kind of miss her excellent cooking skills.
#106 I’ve been meaning to take a long bath in forever but I never get around to doing it.
I haven’t taken a bath ever since we moved to Canada which is ironic because we have a bathtub right inside our house. Whenever I get stressed out, my mom or my sisters would always advise me to do it because it helped them relieve stress. But I just feel so unproductive staying there for hours, which is why I love showers because I’m done 30 mins max. Seeing this though made me want to do it soon. Chocolate covered strawberries? Yes!! I hope I’m not busy this weekend!
#105 My family would always tease me about not chewing my food properly.
I remember when I was a kid, I was so lazy to chew my food that our helpers would literally hold my mouth to a chewing motion. So now, I get so conscious about it whenever they point it out. But you know what, maybe I just chew really fast so I get to swallow food faster than the average person.
Oh, and they even told me that the reason I don’t gain weight is because I don’t chew my food well enough so now I’ve been consciously trying to do it “well enough” just to gain weight!!
#104 I like bus rides when going on a trip.
We usually go on separate vehicles when going somewhere so when they announced that we are taking a bus to Mactaquac to go sledding, I was all excited! It’s just so much fun to see everyone in one place. And when something happens, everyone would know it so nobody gets left out.
#103 I have always secretly dreamt of being a fashion designer.
The dream started when I was in Grade 4. Whenever I watch TV shows, I would draw outfits of different celebrities in my so-called fashion sketchpad. And growing up, I admired the fashion industry more and more. Working in a fashion magazine would be my dream job because I get to write about something I am passionate about and I would get to see and experience everything first-hand. Just imagine being invited to numerous fashion shows and meeting tons of designers!
#102 My brother just told me that his friend described me as the sister who always has a lot of likes on facebook and the one that doesn’t have a boyfriend.
Yep, facebook pretty much made it obvious that I’m single. Hahaha!
#101 It’s ironic how I’m the one who makes coffee when I’m the only one who doesn’t drink coffee in the office.
There was one time when I was asked to make a latte and the client loved it. So ever since then, my boss kept bragging about my latte ability to our clients. The thing is, I don’t measure how much steamed milk or flavoured creme I put in and I have no idea how good they really taste since I have never tried any of the lattes I made. So it’s awesome how they like it every single time!
My boss after a 7-hr video shoot: I know this isn’t part of your job description, but can you please make me a latte? I just really need to boost my energy.
It’s really nice to know how you can help someone out with the little things you do!
