#59 First Sunday of the month
We usually celebrate every first Sunday of the month. It could be dining out or going on a trip. So this is our first “First Sunday of the month” celebration in Canada. It was hard to find a place to dine in because apparently, all the shops and restaurants in Freddy closes at 5pm. Luckily, we still found one restaurant open at past 5pm. So it was still a success. Yay! After that, we decided to celebrate it over lunch next time. ;>
#58 I can rap Super Bass.
I’ve memorized the lyrics ever since Aimee introduced the song to me. There was a time when the song played on the radio while we were at our professor’s car (during our trip to Avilon Zoo) and we rapped like pros. Haha. I kid. So the next time he saw me at a meeting, he kept teasing me about it.
In 1989, a little girl named Amy sent a bottle of colored water, oil and glitter to Roald Dahl, who knew right away that this was a dream in a bottle inspired by his book, The BFG. In response, the author penned this short note to his 7-year-old fan.
#57 I’m a huge fan of Roald Dahl.
It started with a book review assignment when I was in grade school. At that time, I read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Since then, I’ve been buying his other books because I love the illustrations as well. Oh how I miss reading his books!

#56 I’ve been meaning to cook… again.
I used to cook until I got lazy. So anyway, my sisters are recently into baking and/or cooking. So while eating Fettucine, my dad asked me, “Ikaw ano specialty mo?” From then on, I’ve been thinking about what to cook for them until I found this Mini Lasagna. It looks pretty easy to do. Well, I hope it is. Haha. I would definitely try this!

Or do you not think so far ahead? ‘Cause I been thinkin’ ‘bout forever.
Gabe Bondoc - Thinking About You (Frank Ocean Cover)
#55 I am a fan of Gabe Bondoc.
And this cover just proves that you should be one too. He is just amaaaaazing. He writes his own songs too. Some of his songs that I love: You’re It, Gentlemen Don’t, Now I Know, Anywhere Anything, Tables and Better Yet.
#54 I would always ask my mom about my clothes.
I saw the exact same top at Winners being sold for $5 only. I wanted to buy it but mom won’t let me. :( She says the top can get damaged easily because of the details on the sides (which is not visible in the picture) Oh well, mothers know best.
#53 Second hand books
I love reading books. I recently went to Value Village to buy books. They have this buy 4 and get 1 for free promotion. And it’s like $4 per book only. I don’t mind buying second hand books as long as it still looks decent. So can someone please take me to this store? I hope there’s one in Freddy. :>

#51 A Cinderella Story is one of my favorite movies.
And how could I ever forget the quote: “Waiting for you is like waiting for rain in this drought: useless and disappointing.”
