#64 Open closet
I have the exact same closet rack and this is how my open closet looked like. But I just recently bought a new one that best suits my need. Now, I can get rid of my dresser completely. Yay for this space savers!
#63 Thomas Edison
I helped my brother write something about Thomas Edison. So I researched on his biography and found out that he had poor hearing. And even if he already had the means to get an operation, he refused it. His rationale was that he was afraid he would have difficulty re-learning how to channel his thinking in an ever more noisy world. I liked how he focused on the advantages of his condition instead of being all sorry about it.
And for me, his last words portrayed his positive outlook in life.
#62 The Princess Diaries
It’s one of my all time favorite movies. I’ll never get tired of watching it. Before, I would always mimic how a princess should act. Then I feel like an instant princess being all prim and proper.
#61 I’d love to go to Paris.
I want to see Paris at night. They say it’s a really romantic place. Can’t wait to see the Eiffel Tower and eat French macarons while I’m there. Oh, and I wanna learn French as well! Then I’d go get a Paris-inspired notebook and write about my travel.
#59 First Sunday of the month
We usually celebrate every first Sunday of the month. It could be dining out or going on a trip. So this is our first “First Sunday of the month" celebration in Canada. It was hard to find a place to dine in because apparently, all the shops and restaurants in Freddy close at 5pm. Luckily, we still found one restaurant open at past 5pm. So it was still a success. Yay! After that, we decided to celebrate it over lunch next time. ;>
#58 I can rap Super Bass.
I’ve memorized the lyrics ever since Aimee introduced the song to me. There was a time when the song played on the radio while we were at our professor’s car (during our trip to Avilon Zoo) and we rapped like pros. Haha. I kid. So the next time he saw me at a meeting, he kept teasing me about it. Oh, and I rap the clean version of the song just to be clear. lol
In 1989, a little girl named Amy sent a bottle of colored water, oil and glitter to Roald Dahl, who knew right away that this was a dream in a bottle inspired by his book, The BFG. In response, the author penned this short note to his 7-year-old fan.
#57 I’m a huge fan of Roald Dahl.
It started with a book review assignment when I was in grade school. At that time, I read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Since then, I’ve been buying his other books because I love the illustrations as well. Oh how I miss reading his books!
#56 I’ve been meaning to cook… again.
I used to cook until I got lazy. So anyway, my sisters are recently into baking and/or cooking. So while eating Fettucine, my dad asked me, “Ikaw ano specialty mo?" From then on, I’ve been thinking about what to cook for them until I found this Mini Lasagna. It looks pretty easy to do. Well, I hope it is. Haha. I would definitely try this!
