My sister, Keilah, had recently bought a whole set of acrylic paint for $25. Booyah! So anyway, after spending all the time arranging it by color, my brother dropped it when they moved it in the attic. Fail.
Family Restaurant Breakfast (at Kings Landing Historical Settlement)
The meal is served from 8:30am until 1:30pm and is a first-come, first-served basis. We got there at 9am so the line wasn’t that long. The cost of the meal is $9 per adult and $6 per child. It includes pancakes with maple syrup, toasted bread, eggs, bacon, sausage, baked beans and your choice of drinks. I like how they cooked the sausage. It had a somewhat crisp on the outside.
Maple Candy on the snow (at Kings Landing Historical Settlement)
You had to pay $2 for the maple candy. What they do is they pour the hot maple syrup onto the snow. Then, they roll it onto the end of a wooden stick. It was really sweet. Loved it!
Drive Thru ATM
The bank is already closed and my sister needs to withdraw money. It was actually our first time to try it. ;)
I’m not sure if I’m allowed to take pictures. Hello there camera on the right side!
We’re not really into fancy birthday celebrations. As long as we get to spend time together, all is well. So what we did is we drove all the way to Oromocto to eat Chinese food. We just can’t get enough of rice meals and dad said they really serve good food.
Pork Kebab with Ginger Lemon Marinade
First dinner for the month of April. My sister did the cutting, marinating and the grilling part and I helped with putting them on the sticks. Don’t judge. I do other stuff too. lol. This is actually the first time we prepared a kebab and it was a success. Yay!
We went to King’s Landing Historical Settlement last Saturday. It was interesting to know how people lived back in the days. Anyway, it was really cold which is totally unexpected because it’s Springtime. Well, it was deceivingly sunny that I only wore a sweater. And the wind chills didn’t help with all that walking.
P.S. Will post more pics soon. :)
