It was the 2nd day of Spring and the weather was perfect to do some exercise. So we headed to the Walking Bridge in downtown. I haven’t had much exercise for the past few weeks so I opted to do walking /brisk walking for the first 5km and jogged all the way to the end of the bridge (approx. 1km). It was pretty tiring. We went home afterwards to eat. Then, we decided to play badminton outside. T’was a really fun day!
#59 First Sunday of the month
We usually celebrate every first Sunday of the month. It could be dining out or going on a trip. So this is our first “First Sunday of the month" celebration in Canada. It was hard to find a place to dine in because apparently, all the shops and restaurants in Freddy close at 5pm. Luckily, we still found one restaurant open at past 5pm. So it was still a success. Yay! After that, we decided to celebrate it over lunch next time. ;>
Our flight was delayed for 24 hours. And since Dad, Tito Choi and Tito Roland were already in Montreal, they had to stay at a hotel. It was surreal seeing them after 53 hours of travel time. Most of my relatives (dad’s side) are already in Canada for years and it was actually a dream come true having us live in the same city as all of them. After years of praying, God never failed us. :)
And I am sure of this, that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion. (Philippians 1:6)
P.S. My nickname is misspelled, as usual.
Ambassadors of Goodwill Rehearsal (August 2009)
I was one of the AOG staffers but I barely attend pageant rehearsals since it is held on Sundays. Well for us, Sunday is family day. So this was my one of the few times I attended the rehearsal. Since I was just a trainee, I had to for requirement purposes.
Feeding program (September 2009)
My first time participating in a feeding program. We served lugaw for the families that were affected by the calamity. Glad I’m part of a church who volunteers.
Sledding at Potato Research
So here is a picture of my family all geared up to go sledding. It was scary at first but when you’ve tried it, you’ll love it. The hard part is climbing up because you would at least have to take a thousand steps to get to the top. But the rush of sledding down was worth it. Plus, it’s a good workout too. I’ll post pictures or even videos of us actually sledding soon since I’m too lazy right now. lol.
After watching The Vow, my cousin decided that we should set a date for a Nicholas Spark movie marathon before watching The Lucky One which is coming soon in theatres.
#54 I would always ask my mom about my clothes.
I saw the exact same top at Winners being sold for $5 only. I wanted to buy it but mom won’t let me. :( She says the top can get damaged easily because of the details on the sides (which is not visible in the picture) Oh well, mothers know best.
