NEW YEAR’S EVE SERVICE
- To decide what table goes first, they had to play songs from different TV shows.
- The pastors performed a song using their iPod as instruments. It was pretty cool!
- The Filipino choir also performed. The crowd loved it! They even added, “It seems like every Filipino really knows how to sing.”
- Grace wouldn’t give me the password to their wi-fi. Pretty mean, eh? But she says it’s just out of love. I doubt it!! Haha!

Apparently, our relatives in NB have a tradition of opening the gifts together. So we all gathered at Tita Edlyn’s place early in the morning. We arrived only a few minutes late. And yet, they kept calling us ‘cause they were too excited! So after eating breakfast, Tita Edlyn went on calling our names and distributing the gifts. Then, Tito Roland asked us to line up for the pamasko. The kids were given CAD20 and we got CAD5 each. Unfair? Yes. Haha!
- Lots of food. I especially love Kare-Kare!
- We always get to spend the holidays with the Filipino community. ♥
- Praying over the food before anything else
- Pinoy Henyo. It was super fun because everyone was so competitive esp. Tito Roland. I’ve never seen him like that before. Haha!
- Texting game in which my sister and I won CAD5 each. That goes to show that the Philippines is really the text capital in the world.
Kristina’s birthday celebration.
Another celebration of my sister’s birthday. Tita Edlyn bought Strawberry Cheesequake from DQ. She buys this as a gift for those celebrating their birthdays ‘cause it’s her favorite cake. It’s becoming our favorite na din tuloy. Haha! Anyway, it’s pizza and fries overload for us. YAY!

Salad and burgers. We went to the superstore earlier and saw that the patties are sold for a discounted price. They were huge patties so we had to put in a lot of veggies to balance the flavor. Well, except for Edward who doesn’t like to eat veggies and a lot of other stuff too.
So after a year and 3 months, we finally get to be reunited with dad. Oh, how me missed him!! Our flight to Canada wasn’t anything amusing. We got to spend a whole day in the Hongkong Airport because we arrived late. Thanks to PAL’s over an hour delay. So just excuse the haggard faces. Haha! Anyway, I was only able to retrieve these pics. Sadly, my mom isn’t in any of it. :(
Thomas’ Halloween Birthday Party
It was a last minute thing. We weren’t supposed to dress up for the party but then we passed by a store that sells Halloween costumes. So we hurriedly bought costumes for each one of us then went to my uncle’s house to wash and dry the clothes. Voila! Looks like we weren’t going to be left out in the party.
Also, my sisters and I went trick or treating for the first time. I know we’re too old for that but who cares. We look young naman eh. JK. Haha!
